The Demon's Peace is Out Now & New Bonus Short Story
My new, standalone dark fantasy book is out! The Demon's Peace is out now everywhere in ebook, paperback, and hardback.
She buried her daughter. Made a deal with a demon. Then went hunting.
When Sabyse's daughter is murdered on her wedding day, the corrupt authorities can't help.
Thaena Ashmore can. She's a legendary demonic assassin. Except she's done with human vengeance and has little interest in anything except mourning her lost love.
To gain the vengeance she craves, Sabyse has no choice but to shatter Thaena's peaceful retirement, forcing the assassin into a contract that drags her back onto the path of blood. Bound by a fraught alliance, the two women must navigate a conspiracy that stretches back fifty years and confront their own terrible truths.
Goodreads advanced reviews are strong:
- I went in anticipating a dark supernatural story filled with demons, ghosts, revenge, and questionable life choices, but the grief and trauma at the center were what really stuck with me. (Sassy)
- Okay, THIS is the kind of dark and unsettling horror I'm always looking for. Demon's Peace pulled me in with its sinister atmosphere and slowly built-up sense of dread. (Rudi)
Also, I like to release a bonus short story with each new book. The short story connected to The Demon's Peace is here, The City of One Million Lights, right now.
Set after the events of The Demon's Peace. Contains spoilers for that book.
Sabyse survived a nightmarish ordeal of vengeance. Now, she has to deal with what comes next. Far from everything she once knew, can Sabyse adjust to a new life of travel with a half-demon assassin?
Reviews on Goodreads and Amazon help a lot, and I'd love to hear what you think.
